Life without a mouse

Part of handling a PC really effectively is an instinctive use of keyboard shortcuts so that you don’t have to switch between mouse and keyboard all the time. Lately I met someone who was amazed just because I used Alt-Tab to switch windows. She’s been using Windows for some years now but never heard of this shortcut.

So this is a must-read for all PC (and Mac) users out there:

yesterday I too received this nice error message from my own system “Windows failed to recognize mouse. Please shut off the Computer and reattach the mouse” despite the fact that my mouse was well connected to the port. So, I tried connecting everything tightly, even opened my mouse, checked all the wires and tried but to no avail. I didn’t have that much time and decided that I would work without it and well, here’s life without a mouse.
